EXRS 2010 - Principles of Coaching

Students learn the fundamentals of coaching involved in the six primary sports of: (1) Baseball/Softball, (2) Football, (3) Track and Field, (4) Basketball, (5) Volleyball, and (6) Soccer.  Emphasis is also placed on coaching skills that included effective communication, techniques of learning, psychology of sports performance, and leadership theory.  Thoroughly familiarizes the student with athletic assessment and test protocols and the design and implementation of individual and team training drills and performance techniques.
