MGSE 4000 - Math Methods (Middle Grades/Secondary Education)

This course provides opportunities for teacher candidates to learn and understand the characteristics, processes, and perspectives of mathematics and the concepts of numbers and operations; measurement and geometry; patterns, algebra, and functions; data analysis and probability; and pre-calculus and calculus which are aligned to the Georgia Performance Standards/Core Curriculum for grades six through twelve.  Guided field experiences are required.

Prerequisite:  Admission to the teacher education program.
