CHEM 4444K - Advanced Organic Chemistry

An advanced study of theoretical aspects of organic reactions, including molecular orbital theory and pericyclic reactions, kinetic isotope effects, linear free-energy relationships, and solvent effects. The lecture as well as the laboratory will emphasize data analysis and the independent use of the primary literature. Prerequisites: CHEM 3442 and CHEM 3541
