POLS 3302 - Political Socialization and Public Opinion Recommended for students in the secondary education program. A survey of political socialization, the process through which a citizen acquires knowledge, opinions and behavior about politics and government. The course explains how public opinion develops and evaluates whether public opinion influences public policy. Pre-requisite: POLS 1101 or POLS 1101H
