POLS 4211 - European Security

This course examines the environment and emerging security structures within Europe. It analyzes the changing nature of the European security environment since creation of NATO, the fall of the Soviet Union, and the development of a separate EU structure. This course will also review the institutional structures along with the internal and external influences which drive European security issues. Pre-requisite: POLS 1101/POLS 1101H Pre- or Co-Requisite: POLS 2401/POLS 2401H
