ECDV 4070 - Clinical Experience: Assessment, Planning, and Instruction This capstone clinical experience provides candidates the opportunity to demonstrate the skills of assessing, planning, and teaching using the NAEYC standards while student teaching in a birth to age five (kindergarten) setting. (Unit standards 4 and 5: NAEYC standards 3, 4, and 6). Pre-requisites: Completion of Area F and upper level courses with grades of C or higher, minimum 2.50 GPA, completion of the GA Assessment for the Certification of Educators (GACE) birth to age five examination, passing the GSC pre-clinical portfolio, current CPR and first aid certification, and a notarized permission form for a criminal background check. Co-requisites: ECDV 4050, ECDV 4060, and ECDV 4080.
