LART 3005 - Teaching Reading

An intensive study of reading skills in the areas of readiness, vocabulary development, phonics, word recognition, and comprehension. Students become familiar with current approaches used to teach reading and the organizational skills needed to implement these approaches for students in a P-5 setting.
