ECDV 4060 - Clinical Experience: Student Needs and Learning Environments The capstone clinical experience provides candidates with the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge of students, the learning environment, and the NAEYC standard while student teaching in a birth to age five (kindergarten) setting (Unit standards 2 and 3; NAEYC standards 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9).
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisites: Completion of all Area F and upper level courses with grades of C or higher, minimum 2.50 GPA, completion of the GA Assessment for the Certification of Educators (GACE) birth to age five examination, passing the GSC pre-clinical portfolio, current CPR and first aid certification, and a notarized permission form for a criminal background check
Corequisites: ECDV 4050, ECDV 4070, and ECDV 4080
