CSCI 1411 - Script Programming


This course examines the nature of scripting, the role of scripting languages, introduces a variety of scripting languages that can be used to develop security tools, or extend popular security tools such as Metasploit, Social Engineering Frameworks, and Wireshark. The course will also explores the nature of scripting, the role of scripting languages, include hands-on activities through assigned script programming tasks. This course explores the nature of scripting, the role of scripting languages, introduces some of the popular scripting languages and their applications, and provides skills in scripting language design.

Prerequisite: CSCI 1301 with a grade of C or higher
