JAPN 1001 - Elementary Japanese I

The first of two elementary language courses designed to develop skills in speaking, listening comprehension, reading, and writing, as well as familiarize students with aspects of the target culture. The course delivery combines three hours of in-class lecture with one hour alternative instructional delivery through lab assignments, online course work, and service learning where applicable. A grade of “C” or higher will fulfill the CPC deficiency.
