ARAB 2003 - Intermediate Arabic III


This is the third segment of an intermediate course of Modern Standard Arabic. It is designed as a continuation to Arabic 2002 and a foundation for Arabic 2004. The objective of this course is to develop a strong ability to use the language by communicating creatively. There will be a continued stress placed upon the acquisition of a solid grammatical base that will enhance students, overall linguistic proficiency and enable them to pursue further study of the language. The emphasis will continue to be placed upon learning practical vocabulary, listening comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing skills. An emphasis will also be placed on providing the students with exposure to various aspects of the Arabic culture.

Prerequisite/Corequisite:
Prerequisite: ARAB 2002 or placement by the Department of Modern & Classical Languages
