ENGL 2131H - Honors American Literature I This course is a survey of American Literature from the beginnings to the Civil War, which involves reading, analyzing, and interpreting significant literary works within their historical. social, and cultural contexts.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisites: Acceptance to the Honors program, and ENGL 1102 or ENGL 1102H with a grade of B or higher
Hours: 3
Notes: ENGL 2131H, Honors American Literature I, will count for credit in AREA C of the Core Curriculum and in AREA F for English, English Education, and General Studies majors.
