MUSC 4311 - Senior Thesis


A capstone course for students majoring in music. The culmination of this course is the production of a senior thesis in music history or music theory. Subject to the approval of the supervising instructor, the student will select a topic to develop into a written document that will demonstrate a sufficient mastery of the subject area appropriate to the degree being obtained. The student is responsible for following established institutional research guidelines and for pursuing appropriate dissemination of the completed work.

Prerequisite/Corequisite:
Prerequisites: Minimum of two 3000-4000 level elective courses in music history or music theory (as appropriate) and permission of the Music Department Head
