BIOL 2130L - Human Anatomy and Physiology II Lab

A continuation of Human Anatomy and Physiology I Lab. An in-depth study of the structure and function of the human body, from the cellular/histological level through the organ system level, with a focus on the following organ systems: endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic/immune, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive. A major emphasis of the course is on the importance of organ system interactions in the maintenance of homeostasis. A unit on water, electrolyte, and acid-base balance is also included. Computer simulations and animal dissections are utilized.

Prerequisite/Corequisite:
Grade of C or higher in BIOL 2120/BIOL 2120L.

Corequisite is BIOL 2130.

Notes:
All lecture and lab courses have a separate number and grade; therefore, if the lab is required with the lecture, they must be taken concurrently. The only exception is if one component (lecture or lab) is passed and the other failed; only the failed portion need be repeated. Lecture and lab must be taken on the same campus when taken concurrently.
