THEA 3110 - Directing This course introduces the student to the fundamental responsibilities and functions of the director. He/she will study and practice techniques in selecting, auditioning, and casting scenes and will examine techniques in staging. Student directed scenes will culminate the course. This course provides an introduction to the role of the director in the contemporary theatre. As many modern directors exert considerable influence upon the directorial responsibility is a vital part of the major.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisites: THEA 1100 and THEA 1021 and THEA 2070
