THEA 3500 - Stagecraft III/Lab This course presents advanced topics in stage technology, including advanced rigging techniques, production planning, electronic controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, structural design for the stage and metal fabrication, welding, and other state-of-the-art technologies. Emphasis will also be placed on the design/engineering layout, CAD drafting and execution for an advanced production problem. The Lab component of this course consists of two hours. If possible, students will attend field trips to local scenic studios.
