PSYC 6860 - Interviewing and Counseling An introduction to the basic counseling/clinical interviewing techniques, helping skills, and approaches in the counseling process. Students learn to apply various counseling theories and research that have been developed in the context of clinical interviewing. Students also begin to learn the counseling/clinical techniques that build and sustain therapeutic relationships in applied settings. Pre-requisite: PSYC 6530, PSYC 3530 or PSYC 6840
