ENST 3040 - Environmental Communication A study of communication styles, strategies, and campaigns of participants in environmental policy debates (government, industry, environmentalists, scientists, the media, private citizens and anti-environmentalists). Students consider the various types of communication, the ways in which they shape and are shaped by different approaches to the environment and their interaction in a number of case studies. Students also reflect on their own environmental positions and arguments. Pre-requisites: ENST2030, COMM 1100, and GISC 2011/L or permission of instructor.
