GISC 3200K - Python Programming for GIS

Students will become proficient in the Python programming language and will be able to apply their skills along with computation techniques to enhance and improve their geospatial projects and assignments. Topics covered include data structures, object oriented programming and the application interfaces of popular commercial and open source GIS software. Pre-requisites: GISC 2011, GISC 2011L, and MATH 1111.

Prerequisite/Corequisite:
GISC 2011 with D or greater and MATH 1111 with D or greater and GISC 2011L with D or greater
