GISC 4360K - Digital Image Processing


This applied course introduces modern techniques in digital image processing, including the enhancement and quantification of remotely sensed imagery. Emphasis is placed upon the processing of data gathered by airborne and satellite sensors, with applications in geology, forestry, water quality, and land use management. Exercises will be based on watershed scale environmental assessments in the North Georgia region. Pre-requisites: GISC 4350K and MATH 1401 or MATH 2400.

MATH 1113, GISC4350K and MATH 2400 or MATH 1401 or permission of the instructor.
