GISC 4500K - Application Development This course will focus on developing scripts to automate geoprocessing tasks and enhance productivity in the ArcGIS environment. Students will be introduced to various scripting languages with a focus on Python and Visual Basic for Applications. Exercises will be based on real-world scenarios with an emphasis on building working applications and deliverables. Students are expected to be proficient in ArcGIS and Windows XP. No prior programming experience is required. Pre-requisite: Successful completion of three University of North Georgia GISC courses.
