READ 3006 - Teaching Reading in Content Areas

Study of objectives and methods for teaching comprehension, vocabulary, study skills and critical reading in the content areas (P-8). Attention is focused on refinement of teaching strategies to improve content area instruction and to create appreciation of and interest in reading.
