MUED 4280 - Curriculum and Assessment

This course will address curricular issues in music education as well as assessment strategies. Music curriculum models will be examined in detail. Students will learn about portfolio and rubric assessments as well as other embedded assessments. Additionally, students will complete sample portions of the TWS (Teach Work Sample). 105 hours of field experience are required for this course. Reflections and video analyses are required and tied to in-class discussions.
