THEA 4215 - Media and Projections for Theatre

The purpose of this course is to expose the student to the basic media, software, and equipment used in projections for theatrical productions. The aesthetics of using projections in a production, as well as the possibilities and limitations will be explored and discussed. Students will learn basic and advanced software systems for control of projections in theatre, as well as, the design and engineering, hookup and troubleshooting of projection systems for live theatre. Pre-requisite: THEA 3510.
