GISC 2203K - Fundamentals of Remote Sensing

The course is an introduction to the fundamentals of remote sensing of the earth. Topics include the physical principles on which remote sensing is based, history and future trends, sensors and their specifications, image data sources, accuracy assessment, and techniques in image classification,  interpretation, and analysis.  Prerequisites:  GISC 2011/L and MATH 1111.
