GRMN 1001 - Elementary German I

The first of two elementary language courses designed to develop skills in speaking, listening comprehension, reading, and writing as well as familiarize students with aspects of the target culture. The course delivery combines three hours of in-class lecture with one hour alternative instructional delivery through lab assignments, online course work, and service learning where applicable. A grade of ‘C’ or higher will fulfill the CPC deficiency.

Prerequisite: ENGL 0099or permission by the instructor.

Notes:
A native speaker may not register for certain German classes. A native speaker is defined as a person who graduated from a secondary school in which the language of instruction was German.
