MUSC 1000 - Fundamentals of Music

The development of basic music literacy in reading and writing music. Students will be required to write and perform simple musical exercises. Other exercises will be done to improve the student’s sight-singing/ear-training. Music majors may use this course as preparation for the four-semester music theory sequence.
