ARAB 2120 - Intermediate Arabic I & II


ARAB 2120 is the continuation of ARAB 1002 or ARAB 1120 and is equivalent to ARAB 2001 and ARAB 2002 combined. It is the first and second segments of an intermediate course of Modern Standard Arabic. Continued development and reinforcement of the fundamentals of grammar, vocabulary acquisition, pronunciation, speaking, reading and writing. Designed to increase linguistic and cultural proficiency through the situational use of the language and the study of authentic materials from Arabic-speaking regions. Language laboratory and online assignments. Class conducted in Arabic.

Prerequisite/Corequisite:
Prerequisites: ARAB 1002 or ARAB 1120, or placement by the Department of Modern & Classical Languages
