EDUC 6400 - Introduction to Educational Research The Introduction to Research graduate level course will introduce students to the definitions, design methods, and applications of empirical research. From the perspective of a teacher-scholar, the student will consider how formal inquiry informs one’s practice and the education of K-12 learners. As a teacher-scholar, the student will answer the essential question, “What interests and concerns me as a teacher in my practice and my field?” Course content includes issues in research, research as a change agent, and types of inquiry. Prerequisite: Admission to Graduate Teacher Education Program.
