ASTR 4010 - Stellar Astrophysics Students will take a theoretical approach to understanding the internal structure and evolution of stars. In particular, they will explore how a relatively small number of fundamental physical processes conspire to produce a vast array of stellar phenomena. Throughout the course, students will develop snippets of code to model a variety of physics within stellar interiors that will allow them to construct a rudimentary stellar structure and evolution model.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisite: ASTR 3150 with a grade of C or higher
