MUAP 2670 - Major Applied Jazz & Commercial A continuation of MUAP 1670 focusing on the development of artistic ability. Emphasis is given to the development of performance abilities in jazz and/or commercial idioms through the study of standard repertoire. A combination of individual (50-minute lesson) and group (studio/master class) instruction provides preparation for public performance. Repertoire and other requirements increase with credit hours. Each student who is enrolled for major applied instruction must concurrently participate fully in a major UNG performance ensemble, regardless of whether the student chooses to enroll for ensemble credit. A student may accumulate a maximum of 6 credit hours in this course.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisite: Completion of 2 hours MUAP 1670 with a grade of C or higher
