MUAP 1540 - Secondary Applied Woodwind


Performance-based instruction focusing on the attainment of woodwind proficiency. Emphasis is given to the development of basic musicianship through technical exercises and standard woodwind literature. Instruction may be given in either a group or individual setting or a combination of the two. Students will receive 25 minutes of instruction per credit hour. To be eligible for two credit lessons, students must either a) be a declared Music Major provisionally admitted to the Music Program or b) have declared a Music Minor. A student may accumulate a maximum of 4 credit hours in this course.

Prerequisite/Corequisite:
Prerequisites: Audition. Two credit eligibility requires declared Music Major or Minor and Department Head permission.
