SPIS 8012K - Spatial Computation Methods and Modeling

This course examines topics related to the theory of spatial model building and approaches associated with application research. Topics include theoretical model design and algorithms. This course will also emphasize advanced spatial statistics and its application in spatial analysis and modeling. Students are expected to be proficient in a programming language and have significant domain knowledge in Spatial Information Science.

Prerequisite/Corequisite:
Prerequisites: MATH 1450, MATH 3350, GISC 4480K or GISC 6480K, and GISC 4500K or GISC 6500K, or permission of department.
