MATH 3345 - Statistical Computing

This class introduces computationally intensive statistical methods. Topics include data formatting, manipulation, and visualization; use of random number generators; sampling, simulation, and bootstrapping; and statistical analysis. Appropriate modern statistical software will be used by students in this course.

Prerequisites: DATA 1501 or MATH 1401 plus 3 additional hours of college level mathematics credit (not including MATH 1001 or 1101)
