HIST 3157 - Native American History This course charts the history of the first Americans, who began arriving on the continent some 10,000 years before Columbus. It looks at how they experienced, shaped and viewed the main contours of American history. Topics include the wide variety of Native American myth and culture, relations with European colonists and the new American nation. Native American economies and political structures and where Native Americans stand today. (U.S. HISTORY)
