MUED 4280 - Curriculum and Assessment Curriculum and Assessment is a synthesis capstone course for the music education degree with a central focus on the alignment of curriculum planning, instruction, and assessment to national and state standards for K-12 music content. Students will develop standards-based unit planning with grade-appropriate repertoire, differentiated instructional strategies, and formative and summative assessments. Students will examine alternative approaches to music education, including using technology tools for music content delivery and teaching diversity through the lens of multicultural music education. Students will complete an electronic portfolio, local and state key assessments, as required by the College of Education for GA certification.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisites: Successfully met the requirements for progression in the College of Education, MUED 3220 with a grade of B or higher, and both MUED 4210, and MUED 4220 with grades of C or higher.
Corequisite: MUED 4290.
