POLS 3209 - Middle Eastern Political Systems This course introduces students to the political systems of the greater Middle East. The course will analyze, explore, and compare the social, historical, ideological, technological and governmental forces that have shaped this region of the world. The course will also examine the process of political development in the Middle East and assess its progress, both as a region and country-by-country toward a meshing of Islamic society with a pluralist political system.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisite: POLS 1101 or POLS 1101H, and POLS 2401 or POLS 2401H (POLS 2401 can be taken as a Corequisite as well)
