HIST 3301 - History of the Caribbean This course will examine the history of the Caribbean region, including the Spanish, French, Dutch, and British Islands, from pre-Colombian times up to the present. Themes will include European-indigenous encounters, colonial rivalries, piracy, the Sugar Revolution, slavery, decolonization, and tourism. (LATIN AMERICAN OR WORLD HISTORY)
