COMM 1110H - Honors Public Speaking This is an introductory course in the history, principles, and practices of public speaking with an emphasis on research and the organization of material as well as the verbal and nonverbal aspects of delivery. Special attention will be given to cultural and global perspectives, critical thinking, and audience analysis during the preparation and practice of public address. This course incorporates the academic standards maintained by the Honors Program.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisite: ENGL 1101 or ENGL 1101H (may be taken concurrently) and acceptance to the Honors Program
