NURS 4033 - Introduction to Perinatal Nursing This course will introduce students to the basic concepts of perinatal nursing. The purpose of this course is to provide the student with a basic understanding of standards, guidelines, and evidence-based recommendations specific to perinatal nursing. Students will learn holistic, family-centered approaches to providing nursing care across populations and cultures.
