ART 3460 - Typography

An introduction to letterform design, text, and display type projects. Emphasis will be on legibility and readability, form and counterform, qualities and attributes that constitute a type family, and the development of typographic hierarchical structure within a given design problem. Recommended to be concurrently taken with ART 3450 Introduction to Graphic Design.
