CHEM 1151K - Survey of Chemistry I

CHEM 1151K is an integrated classroom and laboratory course which is the first course in a two-semester sequence covering the elemental principles of general, organic, and biochemistry designed for allied health majors and non-science majors. Topics to be covered include elements and compounds, chemical reactions, stoichiometry, nomenclature, and molecular structure.

Notes: CHEM 1151 and CHEM 1151L combined are equivalent to CHEM 1151K. This is an integrated lab and lecture course with a single grade assigned at the end of the semester. Students must earn a C or higher in both the laboratory and the lecture portion of the course to receive a final grade of C or higher.
