GEOG 3030 - Geography of Korea


This course will introduce you to the major themes and issues addressed in contemporary geography of Korea.  The focus of this class will be a geographic examination of the cultures, politics and histories of the major human regions of Korea.  Emphasis will be given to the ways in which environment, culture, politics, history, and economics interact to create unique geographical regions. This course will give you a greater appreciation and understanding of the geographical forces shaping Korea.  This course is schedule as an Elective Course for students in East Asian Studies with concentration on Korea.
