ENGL 4880 - Senior Seminar in English: Writing This is the capstone class for the English Major with a Writing Concentration. Review of training in scholarship, review of a personal writing portfolio, extensive discussion of writing theory, and preparation for professional careers as well as graduate school. The development of a sound sense of identity as a professional in writing will be encouraged. It is recommended that students take the Senior Seminar in their final year; however, to accommodate unusual circumstances, advanced students may request the instructor’s permission to take the class as juniors.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisites: ENGL 2230 with a grade of C or higher and at least 18 hours of upper-level English courses from ENGL 3000 - 3199, 4000 - 4199, 4800
