ART 2455 - Introduction to 3D Modeling: Static Meshes In this course students will learn to create and refine the assets necessary for the production of 3D animations and renderings. Students will learn the skills necessary to produce viable 3D models using modern topology theory. This course will cover all aspects of model construction theory, good practices and avoidance of illegal surface construction and topology. Students should be able to accurately construct 3D static mesh assets while avoiding all errors in construction. The resulting models would then be suitable for animations, gaming and virtual reality applications.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisite: ART1450 with a grade of C or higher, or permission of Head of the Department of Visual Arts
