ART 4463 - Digital Painting Techniques This course teaches studio art, design, and digital art majors the core concepts of Photoshop tools, digital painting techniques, and combining photos with digital paint through photo bashing. Students will learn how to render complex perspectives and lighting scenarios to add depth and dimension to their artwork. They will study how to paint realistic textures and surfaces in various settings, from naturally observed subjects to imaginative scenes. By the end of the course, students will have skills needed to create projects suited to the needs of current industries.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisite: ART 3461 with a grade of C or higher, or permission of Department Head of Visual Arts
