PSYC 4850 - Cognitive-Behavioral Treatments This is a specialized course in cognitive-behavioral treatments and therapies (CBT). This course focuses on how empirically supported treatments are formulated, tested and used to improve mental health and human functioning. We will discuss how CBT emerged through multiple waves of change in the field of clinical psychology and how it continues to evolve to this day. We will also talk about how specific techniques are applied to address everyday problems and assess and treat psychological disorders.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisite: PSYC 1101 or PSYC 1101H with a grade of C or higher
