HSDA 4125 - Helping Skills with Individuals This course introduces students to the theory of human development with an emphasis on service delivery to individuals, including interpersonal communication skills, professional strategies, the relationship of interpersonal systems to larger systems and an understanding of cultural factors (including nationality, religion, spirituality, gender, race, etc.) as they relate to developing a working relationship between the human service helper and clients.
