RUSS 3340 - Advanced Russian This 6-hour course is designed to help students reach an advanced level of proficiency in speaking, while continuing to develop their reading, listening, and writing skills. It is intended for students majoring in Russian who aim to communicate confidently on topics beyond their immediate environment and navigate more complex situations in the language.
The course relies heavily on unabridged, authentic materials for listening and reading practice, providing exposure to real-world language use. Classes are conducted entirely in Russian to ensure full immersion and maximize language acquisition.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisite: RUSS 3121 with a grade of C or higher, or placement by the Department of Modern Languages
