LING 2010 - Introduction to Linguistics

An introductory study of descriptive, comparative, and historical linguistics. The origins and structure of language are examined, and a brief analysis is made of the various language families. The importance and function of language are stressed.  Credit will not be given to students who have credit for LING 2010H.

Prerequisite/Corequisite:
Prerequisites: READ 0099 and ENGL 0099
